The bear stopped moving on purpose; the traveler can’t stop. One built a wall called rest; the other calls the open road freedom. But the den and the road do the same job — they both keep you from arriving anywhere you’d have to stay and be known. They trade reasons: the bear, why not to leave; the traveler, why not to land. It sounds like two different lives. It’s the same fear of the threshold.
