a meeting
The Bear & The Traveler

The Bear is waiting at the mouth of the den. · The Traveler is waiting at the crossroads.
where the loops cross
The bear stopped moving on purpose; the traveler can’t stop. One built a wall called rest; the other calls the open road freedom. But the den and the road do the same job — they both keep you from arriving anywhere you’d have to stay and be known. They trade reasons: the bear, why not to leave; the traveler, why not to land. It sounds like two different lives. It’s the same fear of the threshold.
one small thing to try together
Next time the loops cross: the traveler names one place it keeps almost-staying — and why it left. The bear names one reason the den feels safer than out there. Say them plainly. You don’t have to move yet. Just admit, out loud, that the staying and the leaving are both a way of not arriving.
the door
If you both read this far, you already know.
Two patterns, one room. When the door opens, the app shows you where they cross — and one small way through. No noise before then.
Leave an address the meeting can find.
iOS app. One note when the door opens — nothing before.
